Why Skill Enhancement Matters
// Personal Accountability vs. Forced Accountability
I'm Possible's innovative approach utilizes a different kind of accountability. We call it "forced accountability." Instead of yelling at a player to get low, we utilize training tools to physically force the action upon them. Grabbing a Rip Cone, for instance, forces the player to get low, use their off hand, or drop their shoulder. In other words, through the use of innovation, a player can know that they are performing the exercise correctly because the training tool itself forces the accountability. Therefore, we believe that both personal accountability and forced accountability serve a great purpose. Forcing accountability helps a player learn and master movements while personal accountability is necessary for them to demonstrate that the skill and movement has been learned. This is why I'm Possible Training has found such success. Through the use of both innovation and the simple, our players reach levels of success they never dreamed possible.
// What We Believe
We believe that coaches and trainers can unify and work together to make the game of basketball better and to better impact your players. We believe we can help teams and coaches around the world increase your skill development proficiency and provide content to help make your practices more efficient. Why Game Enhancement Matters
"Get low." "Use your off hand." "Drop your shoulder." Vocal commands to a player are often the most frustrating aspect of coaching, where a player is being asked to perform certain actions and hold themselves accountable to the wish and desire of their coach or trainer. As all coaches understand, personal accountability is difficult. While I'm Possible Skill Enhancement provides players with forced accountability methods to help them learn, Game Enhancement training puts the pressure on the player to execute on their own without the help of training tools or aids.
In it's natural form, Game Enhancement training has the tendency to be a little more simple in its execution, as the focus of the training is based on more puristic repetitions of a player's role, shot management, and specific game scenarios. This is the type of training where a player can truly focus on reads, game IQ, game situations, and execute intense game repetitions. The challenge of Game Enhancement training is the fact that it relies heavily on a player holding themselves accountability to game realistic feel, movement, and imagination. This, of course, is another quality of I'm Possible Training that makes our approach beneficial. Our Game Enhancement Trainers are the best at teaching players the art of personal accountability, game feel, and game execution.
